Biografía:
Oingo Boingo fue una banda de New Wave americana, fundada originalmente bajo el nombre de The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo en 1972, en California, por Richard Elfman. A partir de 1974, se añadio a la troupe su hermano menor, Danny, quien iria tomando el liderazgo de la banda a medida que su hermano se alejaba de la escena. El nombre fue tomado de "The Mystic Knights of the Sea", del show "Amos ´n Andy". Adopta permanentemente el nombre de Oingo Boingo recien en 1980
