No Use For A Name (A veces abreviado NUFAN) es una banda proveniente de San Jose, California (USA). Tocan Punk Rock Melódico. Es una banda mítica, que a medida que pasan los años, va, de alguna manera evolucionando su sonido y consolidándose cada vez más como una leyenda.
Todo empezó en 1987 cuando Rory Koff en la Batería , Steve Papoutsis en bajo y voz, y Tony Sly en guitarra y voz, fundaron la banda. No tardaron mucho en arrancar, ya que en menos de un año
