Biografía:
Christa Päffgen fue cantautora, modelo, actriz de Federico Fellini y Warhol superstar, mejor conocida por su seudónimo Nico. Se la recuerda principalmente por su colaboración con The Velvet Underground en 1967 y haber sido amante de Jim Morrison, John Cale e Iggy Pop.
La fecha y lugar de su nacimiento no están del todo claros. Muchas fuentes aseguran que fue el 16 de octubre de 1938 en Colonia, Alemania. Sin embargo, al menos otras dos fuentes sitúan su nacimiento en Budapest (Hungría), el 15 de marzo de 1943.
