Biografía:
The New York Dolls es un grupo de música rock formado en Nueva York en 1971.
Consiguieron poco éxito durante su vida, pero los New York Dolls ejemplificaron lo que vendría poco después en la era de punk rock e incluso más tarde; las influencias de su estilo travestido y exagerado se notan en la apariencia de muchos grupos de hair metal. Su estilo musical descuidado, pero altamente energético marcó la pauta para muchas bandas de rock and roll posteriores.
