Biografía:
Neil Halstead es un cantautor inglés. Fue miembro fundador de Slowdive (1989-1995), banda asociada al género shoegaze. En 1995, tras la marcha de dos de sus miembros, el grupo se reformó bajo el nombre de Mojave 3, con un estilo musical más próximo al folk, el country y el dream pop. Halstead es el principal cantante y compositor en ambas bandas, además de tocar la guitarra.
En 2002, publica su debut en solitario, "Sleeping on Roads", y en 2008 lanza un segundo disco, "Oh! Mighty Engine".
