Biografía:
Aunque generalmente suele identificarse el nombre de Mungo Jerry con el solista Ray Dorset, aquel fue un grupo con todas sus letras (llamado en principio The Good Earth) surgido a finales de los años 60, que con su mezcla entre folk, blues y skiffle, alcanzó un enorme triunfo comercial con su canción más popular, “In the summertime”.
La banda era conformada por Dorset, como cantante y guitarrista, se encontraban además el pianista y vocalista Colin Earl, el bajista Mike Cole y el guitarra, banjo y vocalista Paul King.
