Metro Station es una banda de electropop indie procedente de Hollywood, California que firmó para Columbia / Red Ink Records, pero lamentablemente, en Junio de 2010 se hizo oficial la separación de la banda.Después de un periodo separados, la banda ha decidió volver, esta vez como trío, desvínculandose así de Trace Cyrus, su vuelta fue anunciada el 31 de mayo del año 2011 en twitter
Trace y Mason se conocieron en el 2007 en el set de Hannah Montana
