Mayer Hawthorne (1979) es un cantante, productor, escritor y multi-instrumentista americano basado en Los Angeles.
Sus principales influencias son cantantes de soul, como Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes, Leroy Hutson, Mike Terry, Barry White y Smokey Robinson.
Su primer single "Just Ain't Gonna Work Out"/"When I Said Goodbye" un vinilo en forma de corazón, fue lanzado por Stones Throw Records en el 4 de noviembre de 2008. Su primer album A Strange Arrangement fue lanzado en CD y LP en octobre de 2009.
