Biografía:
Matthew James Morrison nació en octubre de 1978 en Fort Ord, California, Estados Unidos.
Matthew supo que quería ser parte del negocio del entretenimiento luego de participar en un campamento de teatro cuando era niño.
Estudió teatro musical, interpretación vocal y danza en la New York University's Tisch School of the Arts y en la Orange County High School of the Arts.
Debutó en teatro en la puesta en Broadway del musical "Footloose". Su gran salto se produjo al ser seleccionado para interpretar a Lin Larkin en el musical "Hairspray".
