Maroon 5 es una banda estadounidense de pop rock de Los Ángeles, California. Actualmente está compuesto por el vocalista principal Adam Levine, el tecladista y guitarrista rítmico Jesse Carmichael, el bajista Mickey Madden, el guitarrista principal James Valentine, el baterista Matt Flynn, el tecladista PJ Morton y el multiinstrumentista Sam Farrar.

Los miembros originales Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden y el baterista Ryan Dusick se unieron por primera vez con el nombre Kara's Flowers en 1994
