Mainstay es una banda de indie de Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. La banda fue formada en el 2006, y ha firmado con la diquera BEC Recordings.
Si bien, mucha de la música de esta banda tiene lírica y mensajes Cristianos, su música está llamando la atención de bastantes fans seculares.
Su estilo musical se ha comparado a Copeland, Sanctus Real, Lifehouse, Kutless, e inclusive lo comparan con Goo Goo Dolls.
Su álbum debut fue: "Well Meaning Fiction", que salió al mercado el 21 de Febrero de 2006.
