Los Young Empires son Robert Aaron Ellingson, Jake Palahnuk y Matthew Vlahovich. Este trio de Canadá apenas esta terminando su primer álbum. por ahora solo se encuntran cuato demos y un remis de ellos. lo cual es suficiente para engancharnos... haciendo uso de sintetizadores, y una rara mezcla de sonidos desde lo oriental a lo tropical.
Sobre una base de chillwave que puede llegar a ser muy disco y bailable pero a la vez algo experimental, llegan a presentar sonidos muy llamativos con instrumentos poco usuales en géneros como este.
