Biografía:
Lars Johann Yngwie Lannerback nació en Estocolmo, Suecia, el último día de Junio de 1963. El matrimonio entre el padre de Yngwie, un enérgico capitán del ejército sueco y el artístico y liberal espíritu de su madre terminaron en divorcio muy poco tiempo después que él nació. El pequeño genio creció en un ambiente permisivo entre su madre Rigmor, su hermana Ann Louise, y su hemano Bjorn. Yngwie (así lo llamó su madre en recuerdo de un antiguo novio) era algo "salvaje" y sin reglas.
