Tabbed by: CowManJones

Tuning: Standard (EADGBe)

**********************************************************************************
** So for this chord submission, I got the chords for each of these songs from **
** other chord submissions here on UG and I listened to find the appropriate **
** key for this medley and transposed them as needed. These chords are intended **
** for acoustic guitar and only offer an approximation of the original sound, **
** as such, I didn't specify instructions for the parts that really rely on the **
** power metal sound. **

[Carol of the Bells - Instrumental]
Note: This section is simplified a bit. Also, the bass notes are impossible
to play with the lead the way I have it. Sorry about that! Maybe someone
smarter than me can figure that out.

[We Three Kings]
Em Bm Em Bm Em
We three kings of Orient are; bearing gifts we traverse a-far
G D/F# Em C Am B Em
field and fountain, moor and mountain, following yonder star.

Em Bm Em Bm Em
Born a king on Bethlehem's plain, gold I bring to crown Him again,
G D/F# Em C Am B Em
King forever, ceasing never, over us all to reign.

D G C G C G
O-oh star of wonder, star of light, star with royal beauty bright,
Em D C D G C G
westward leading, still proceeding, guide us to thy perfect light.

[Verse Chords Once Through -- End on first Em of What Child Is This]

[What Child Is This - Instrumental]
Em G D Bm
What Child is this who, laid to rest
Em C B
On Mary's lap is sleeping?
Em G D Bm
Whom Angels greet with anthems sweet,
Em Bm Em
While shepherds watch are keeping?

G D Bm
This, this is Christ the King,
Em C B
Whom shepherds guard and Angels sing;
G D Bm
Haste, haste, to bring Him laud,
Em B Em
The Babe, the Son of Mary.
[Play whole thing x2]

[God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - Instrumental (Very fast, too)]
Em B7 Em C
God rest ye merry, gentlemen
G C B7
Let nothing you dismay
Em B7 Em C
Remember Christ our Savior
G C B7
Was born on Christmas Day
E Am D7 G B7
To save us all from Satan's power
Em A7 D
When we were gone astray

Em G B7 Em
Oh tidings of comfort and joy,
A7 D7
Comfort and joy,
Em G B7
Oh tidings of comfort and...

[O Holy Night]
E A E
O holy night, the stars are brightly shining;
E B E
It is the night of the dear Savior's birth.
E A E
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
G#m D# G#m
Till he appeared and the soul felt its worth.
B E
A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices,
B E
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
C#m G#m
Fall on your knees,
F#m C#m
Oh, hear the angel voices!
E B E A
O night divine,
E B E
O night when Christ was born!
B B7 E F#m E B E
O night divine, O night, O night divine

E A E
Truly He taught us to love one another,
E B E
His law is love and His gospel is peace.
E A E
Chains shall he break, for the slave is our brother.
G#m D# G#m
And in his name all oppression shall cease.
B E
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
B E
Let all within us praise His holy name.
C#m G#m
Fall on your knees,
F#m C#m
Oh, hear the angel voices!
E B E A
O night divine,
E B E
O night when Christ was born!
B B7 E F#m E B E [First E in Joy, Joy, Joy]
O night divine, O night, O night divine

[Joy, Joy, Joy]
E A B E
While by the sheep we watched at night,
E A B E
Glad tidings brought and angel bright.

G# C#m G# C#m
How great our joy! (Great our joy!)
C#m B E C#m B E
Joy, joy, joy, (Joy, joy, joy)
E G# F#m G# C#m
Praise we the Lord in heaven on high,
E G# F#m G# C#m
(Praise we the Lord, in heaven on high.)

E A B E
There shall be born, so he did say,
E A B E
In Bethelehem a Child today.

G# C#m G# C#m
How great our joy! (Great our joy!)
C#m B E C#m B E
Joy, joy, joy, (Joy, joy, joy)
