The Walkmen son una banda de rock alternativo de Nueva York, Estados Unidos. La banda fue formada por 3 miembros de Jonathan Fire*Eater (la cual fue recientemente separada) y dos miembros de The Recoys en 2000. El grupo esta formado por Hamilton Leithauser (vocalista, guitarra), Paul Maroon (guitarra, piano), Walter Martin (organo, bajo), Peter Bauer (bajo, organo) y Matt Barrick (bateria). Cuatro de los cinco miembros son originarios de Washington, D.C.
