Biografía:
The Tannahill Weavers son un popular grupo que interpreta música tradicional escocesa. Destacan por ser los primeros en incorporar el sonido de la gaita de las Tierras Altas Escocesas (Highlands) en una formación de conjunto (hasta entonces la gaita escocesa era principalmente un instrumento solista) con lo que consiguieron cambiar el sonido de la música tradicional escocesa.
El grupo se formó 1968 y publicó su primer álbum en 1976. A día de hoy siguen grabando discos y ofreciendo conciertos.
