Biografía:
The Spits son un grupo musical americano de punk de tipo 'Kalamazoo'. En la actualidad, la banda lleva editados cinco albums. Los primeros cuatro eran autotitulados, aunque de forma no oficial se les ha titulado 1, 2, 3, y 4, respectivamente. Los albumos fueron lanzados por Nickel and Dime Records, Slovenly Recordings, Dirtnap Records, y Thriftstore Records respectivamente. En Octubre del 2011 lanzaron su último album, llamado 'V'.
La banda se autodenomina a si misma como "Punk para la gente", y se enfoca en un punk rock sucio y ruidoso.
