Biografía:
The Slits se forman en 1976 bajo el liderazgo de Ari Up (Arianna Foster) y con la malagueña Palmolive —Paloma Romero, todo un mito del primer punk, que después dejó el grupo para formar The Raincoats— a la batería. Viv Albertine y Tessa Pollitt sustituirían más tarde a las otras dos componentes originales, Kate Korus y Suzy Gutsy. Típico producto de la escena punk londinense, The Slits eran pura energía vaginal. Después de que The Clash invitara a The Slits a telonearles en su gira “White Riot”
