Biografía:
The Long Ryders fué una banda estadounidense de los Angeles formada en la década de 1980 y asociada con un movimiento denominado Paisley Underground. Se formó por músicos que estaban influenciados por Gram Parsons, The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, The Flying Burrito Brothers, etc..., añadiendo lo que mas sonaba por entonces punk rock. Sid Griffin, Stephen McCarthy, Des Brewer,(sustituido por Tom Stevens) y Greg Sowdersson formaron parte de la banda.
