Biografía:
A pesar de ser un grupo bastante joven, The Leisure Society no son un grupo de chiquillos, todos los músicos llevan años tocando en varios grupos del underground musical británico. Los origenes de la banda se remontan al primer esfuerzo de Nick Hemming por crear su propio grupo con Paddy Considine (inolvidable en el papel de Rob, el manager de Joy Division en 24 Party People) y Shane Meadows (director de This is England o Dead Man's Shoes) en su ciudad natal Burton-Upon-Trent.
