Biografía:
The Jesus and Mary Chain es una banda formada en Glasgow, Escocia de rock alternativo e incluida en el movimiento shoegazing principalmente por la gran influencia en el sonido de las bandas posteriores. Formada por los hermanos Jim y William Reid, además de una sucesión de colaboradores fugaces entre los que destacan Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream) y John Moore (Revolution 9). Procedentes de East Kilbride en Escocia, publicaron una constante cadena de álbumes, sencillos y EPs desde su formación en 1984 hasta su desaparición en 1999.
