Biografía:
The Helio Sequence es una banda de rock Indie formada en Beaverton, un suburbio de Portland, Oregon, en 1999. Se compone de Brandon Summers a la guitarra y voz y de Benjamin Weikel, quien también ha tocado para Modest Mouse, a los teclados y a la batería. La banda produce un excéntrico tipo de indie rock matizado con electrónica.
Hasta la fecha, el grupo ha publicado dos álbumes con el sello Sub Pop, dos con Cavity Search, una discográfica asentada en Portland, y un EP autoeditado.
