Gram Parsons y Chris Hilmann miembros de The Byrds con Sneaky Pete Kleinow y Chris Ethridge formarán en la década de los 70 el embrión del mítico grupo que será la base y fuente de otros posteriores como los Eagles.
Mas adelante ingresarán en Burrito otros músicos como Gene Parsons o Bernie Leadon que irán conformando la leyenda dal grupo pionero y mas importante de la música country rock.
