Biografía:
O Faith foi formado no verão de 1981 em Washington DC, Estados Unidos, era formado por Alec MacKaye nos vocais, Michael Hampton na guitarra, Chris Calvo no baixo e Ivor Hanson na bateria. Seu primeiro material foi o clássico split com a banda Void, lançado pela Dischord, e mais tarde, em 1983, Eddie Janney assumiu a segunda guitarra na banda para, em seguida, gravar o EP Subject to Change.
A banda teve seu fim em 1983, e Michael, Chris e Ivor tocaram no Embrace junto com o irmão de Alec, o Ian.
