Biografía:
The Dukes of Stratosphear fue el seudónimo usado por la banda británica de rock XTC a mediados de los ochentas, concurrentemente con las actividades musicales continuadas de XTC. El proyecto fue intentado como un homenaje a la música pop y psicodélica de grupos como The Beatles, The Byrds, The Kinks, The Beach Boys, Jefferson Airplane, The Pretty Things y el Pink Floyd temprano bajo el liderazgo de Syd Barrett.
La banda realizó dos grabaciones bajo este seudónimo: el EP 25 O'Clock (1985), y el LP Psonic Psunspot (1987).
