Recordados por muchos, únicamente por su gran éxito de 1966, “Red Rubber Ball”; The Cyrkle fue un exquisito grupo pop, con leves aromas folkies, unas bellas y conjuntadas armonías vocales, una sonoridad deudora de los Beatles y el gusto por la instrumentación barroca y los arreglos corales del mejor sunshine pop californiano.
La banda, originaria de Pennsylvania, estaba formada por Marty Freid, a la batería, Tom Dawes, voz y guitarra, Earl Pickens a los teclados y Don Danneman, como voz, guitarra y piano.
