Biografía:
En 2004, los alter ego de Alec Völkel y Sascha Vollmer, Boss Burns (cantante y tabla de lavar) y Hoss Power (voz y guitarra acústica) respectivamente, forman en Berlín Boss Hoss, una formación con nombre inspirado en una canción de The Sonics. La dirección de la banda es hacer versiones de canciones de pop y rock combinándolos con temas propios, todo ello en clave country and western, tanto en lo musical como en el resto de parafernalia.
