The Bastard Fairies son una banda americana de Los Ángeles, California, formada en 2005. Los describen como " fenómeno de Internet, " al convertirse en el #18 de los grupos con más suscriptores (de todos los tiempos) y el #31 de los más vistos (de todos los tiempos) en el sitio YouTube. Alcanzaron una fama por una razón no relativa a la música, tras lanzar un vídeo promocional que recibió la atención de los medios en Fox News. El álbum debut de la banda, Memento Mori, fue lanzado el 10 de abril de 2007.
