This is my first tab so I hope you guys like it.

(Before anyone says it: Yes I know I have F and A2 as the same, the only reason
is because when playing you have to let off the F with your pinky quickly and
back to the Am, it just sounds alot smoother than switching. It's up to you)

When William plays this song he changes up the fingering by playing a normal
chord like C, and plays it like:
C: 032001
C2:033010
Am:002210
A2:003210
F: 003210
G: 320033

C C2 Am A2 F G
Its winter again, a white washed and frozen... sky...

C C2 Am A2 F
I came to the door, eyes maladjusted from the light,

G
but your voice rang clear.

(Same chord progression throughout the song, listen to the song and you should get it)

Lyrics
You said, “For all I thought I’d ever need,
its hard to face the holidays without.”
Well I’ve left my last message on your machine
Its hard to face the holidays when you’re looking for the words to say.

when you’re looking for the words to say

So you’ve found a friend. You spend all your cold nights with him,
but if i was there, then I’d wonder why you still wear my jacket closed
with traces of my scent.

I’d say, “For all I thought I’d ever need,
its hard to face the holidays without.”
Well I’ve left my last message on your machine
Its hard to face the holidays when you’re looking for the words to say.

So stay with me here. Nose to nose, cold enough to see as our breath slowly
escapes and exchanges from my lungs to yours, from your mouth to mine.

For all I thought I’d ever need,
its hard to face the holidays without.
Well I’ve left my last message on your machine
it’s hard to face the holidays when you’re looking for the words to say.

Background: Stay with me here nose to nose cold enough to see as our breath...

When you're looking for the words to say.

When you’re looking for the words to say.
