Biografía:
la aparicion de esta banda se remonta al año 1998, cuando tres jovenes Atsushi Horie, Shinpei Nakayama y Hidekazu Hinata, este ultimo ex-integrante de Art School, se conocen y deciden formar ? (Straightener), cabe destacar que dicha banda tiene un aire muy similar a bandas como ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION y ELLEGARDEN con los cuales mantienen amistad, pero es dos años mas tarde que la banda hace su primer debut el 25 de junio del 2000 con su single Senshi no shikabane no March
