Biografía:
JOHN GARCIA fundó en 1989, junto a Josh Homme, la mítica banda Kyuss cuando aún estaban en el instituto. El resto de miembros fundadores de la banda fueron Nick Oliveri, Chris Cockrell y Brant Bjork. Garcia es el único miembro de Kyuss, junto a Homme, que ha participado en los cinco álbumes de la banda en sus seis años de vida, desde 1989 hasta su desintegración final en 1995.
En 1996, Garcia forma Slo Burn, su primer proyecto tras Kyuss, pero fracasa estrepitosamente abandonando un año después y después de grabar una demo y un EP.
