Su nombre real es Ricky Walters y nació el 30 de Junio de 1965 en South Wimblendon, Londres, Inglaterra. Es un rapero de la Old School. Se trasladó al Bronx en 1975, cuando conoció a B-Weezy, que le enseñó a rapear. Perdió un ojo a causa de un impacto con un cristal roto en su infancia. Se hizo popular en los años 80.
