Biografía:
O Rubber City Rebels é uma banda americana de protopunk Akron, Ohio, que se formou em 1976.
Primeiros anos
O line-up original da banda consistia de Rod Firestone (vocal), Buzz Clic (violão), Damage Donny (baixo), Pelton Stix (bateria) e Pete Sake (teclados).
Em seus primeiros anos, os rebeldes foram os fãs (e amigos) do companheiro bandas Greater Cleveland-área The Boys e Dead Devo. Sua fuga foi show de abertura para o The Dead Boys, na lendária cidade de Nova York rock clube CBGB, em 1977.
