Each time she went their way, another petal fell.
D C G Walk down
Sometimes life leads you down a road that you don?t choose.

You try so hard to win but you still loose.
D C G
Bottle it all up inside where nothing ever grows.
C G D G
She built a ten foot wall around what?s left of a rose.
G D C G
I have always been there when she?s cried a million tears.
C G D
But I know why she can?t see that I?ve loved her for years.
G D C G
In the fertile soil of my hands I know real love could bloom.
C G D G
I would give up everything to bathe in her perfume.
D C G Walk down
Sometimes life leads you down a road that you don?t choose.
Em C G
You try so hard to win but you still loose.
D C G
Bottle it all up inside where nothing ever grows.
C G D G
She built a ten foot wall around what?s left of a rose.
