Robert Francis

Everything Will Pass

by Robert Francis
Robert Francis

C F C
Yesterday, my room was painted white
C F C
Yesterday I held you up through the night
G F C
The TV lights on wake me early in the morn
G F C
Each second passed I'd cursed the second we were born

C F C
'Cause loving you, ?if it¿ we could do
C F C
Loving you I though was something new
G F C
But deep withing the ?cast¿ and in the dark from which we grew
G F C
My anger set the curve in which our love could might have too

Dm F G F G
Yesterday your little hand losing its grip from mine

F C
Everything will pass, every ?thinking¿ dream
Em
I wish you could look pass that and ?lop in through¿ the trees
Dm F C
Everything has hope, but everything will lie
Em
I wish you could look pass that and look into my eyes

Dm F
It's OK to cry
C
Everybody cries!

C F C
Yesterday I passed out in the bar
F C F C
Yesterday I called my friends when it got dark
G F C
My eyelids from my eyes ?weren't fishing always by the green¿
G F C
The hands that held my guitar ?fire in my heart that can't sleep¿

Dm F G F G
Yesterday your little hand losing its grip from mine

F C
You said everything will pass, every ?thinking¿ dream
Em
I wish you could look pass that and ?lop in through¿ the trees
Dm F C
Everything has hope, but everything will lie
Em
I wish you could look pass that and look into my eyes

Dm F C
Everything will pass, every ?thinking¿ dream
Em
I wish you could look pass that and ?lop in through¿ the trees
Dm F C
Everything has hope, but everything will lie
Em
I wish you could look pass that and look into my eyes

Dm F
It's OK to cry
C
Everybody cries!

Dm
Don't they now?
C
Don't they now?
Dm
Cries!
C
Don't they now?

Dm C ....
