Biografía:
Rival Schools es una banda de Post Hardcore procedente de New York formada en el año 1999 por miembros de diversas bandas influyentes en el hardcore neoyorquino de los 80's y los 90's (Gorilla Biscuits, Quicksand, CIV, Youth Of Today, Burn, Project X, Judge, Moondog, Warzone, Side by Side y Iceburn).
La banda surgió de las cenizas de un proyecto de corta vida, World's Fastest Car el cual tenía a Artie Shepard de Mind Over Matter y Bad Trip, pero este proyecto no sobrepasó el lanzamiento de un par de demos.
