Rage es un grupo de Power Metal/Speed Metal originario de Alemania, originalmente llamado Avenger, conocido por tener en sus varias alineaciones a músicos de renombre en la escena del Heavy Metal y por sus recientes entregas con la colaboración de elementos orquestales, siendo una de las bandas inovadoras en el género del Heavy Metal en usar música clásica de forma importante en sus composiciones.
La historia de Rage comienza en 1984 cuando se forma Avenger.
