Biografía:
Annie Decatur Danielewski (nacida el 23 de marzo de 1968), conocida profesionalmente como Poe, llegó a estar primera en los rankings de rock moderno. Ella es la hija del director de cine polaco Tad Danielewski y su esposa, Priscilla Machold. Poe es también la hermana del escritor Mark Z. Danielewski.
Organizó su primer grupo cuando estudiaba en la Universidad de Princeton. Su primer álbum, Hello, salió en 1995. Su single, "Angry Johnny", tuvo mucha radiodifusión y presencia en la MTV.
