Biografía:
Nacida en la ciudad de Amstelveen (Holanda) el 23 de octubre, creció en un entorno musical aunque en sus inicios trabajo para una compañía de informática, su tendencia musical es de estilo Opera, Clásica y Nueva Clásica, entre otros.
Con su hermana Lida conforma la agrupación Ajedrez, con la que alcanzaron cierto éxito en la música, en esta ocasión trabajaron con el músico Jeroen Englebert, a finales de la década del ochenta su hermana Lida por razones personales decide separarse y es sustituida por Denise Van Der Hek
