OP8 es la colaboración musical de la multiinstrumentista Lisa Germano; Howe Gelb, el hombre detrás del grupo de rock Giant Sand; Joey Burns y John Convertino de Calexico (ambos han sido miembros de Giant Sand).
El único álbum que editaron fue Slush. Los críticos aclamaron su experimental prospera y buenas letras, aunque nunca fueron un éxito comercial.
