Biografía:
Su biografía cuenta que a los 5 años ya tomaba lecciones de piano, y a los 9 comenzó con la guitarra. Para cuando llegó a los 20 años de edad Morse ya había escrito dos obras musicales, y andaba de gira con Al Stewart y Peter White.
Poco después se unió a su hermano Alan Morse y formaron la banda Spock's Beard, con quienes sacó nada más 10 álbumes en 10 años. Simultáneamente, Neal se las arregló para hallar tiempo y ganas de reunirse con otros músicos tan talentosos como él
