Mr. Bungle fue un grupo musical norteamericano formado el año 1985 en Eureka, California, con Mike Patton como vocalista. En sus comienzos, integró estilos musicales como el rock, heavy metal, funk y jazz, resultando en algo similar al funk metal. En sus posteriores trabajos, integraron estilos como el ska, swing y pop, entre otros estilos. La banda se disolvió el 2003.
Sus integrantes fundadores fueron Trevor Dunn en el bajo, Mike Patton en las voces, Trey Spruance en las guitarras y Jed Watts en la batería.
