Biografía:
El guitarrista Mike Bloomfield nació en Chicago en 1942. A principios de los años 60 formó junto al armonicista Paul Butterfield, la "Paul Butterfield blues band", la banda de blues blanco más importante del momento en EEUU.
Tras dejar la banda de Butterfield, Mike Bloomfield era uno de los guitarristas más respetados del momento, lo que hizo que Bob Dylan lo llamara para el album de su electrificación: el histórico "Bringing It All Back Home" (1965).
