Guitarrista, vocalista e compositor, Michael “Iron Man” Burks é uma das maiores figuras do blues contemporâneo. Seu apelido Iron Man - Homem de Ferro lhe foi dado por suas longas apresentações onde demonstra grande resistência física ao tocar, cantar, se contorcer no palco e ainda passar várias horas dirigindo sua van para tocar em muitos lugares. Burks é um moderno herói do blues.
Ninguém do mundo do blues atual toca guitarra com tamanho entusiasmo e com a energia do rock’n’roll como Burks.
