Massari (nome verdadeiro Sari Abboud) se mudou para Montreal na idade de 10. Aos 13, mudou-se para Ottawa com seus irmãos mais novos e Samer Sami. Ele fez sua casa Otava. Em 2002, ele lançou sua primeira música "Spitfire", que recebeu airplay na rádio local Ottawa's Hot 89,9.
Três anos mais tarde, ele lançou um álbum auto-intitulado-Massari.
