Em carreira solo, já escreveu, produziu e fez vocal de apoio para diversos artistas, como Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Outkast, Alicia Keys, Patti LaBelle, Nas, Macy Gray, The Game, Busta Rhymes, Jojo, LeToya, Girlicious, raven-Simoné, Jazmine Sullivan, Alesha Dixon e Ludacris.
Marsha lançou seu primeiro álbum, late nights & early mornings, em Maio de 2011, que foi muito bem aclamado pela crítica especializada.
