Biografía:
Laura Branigan (Nueva York, 3 de julio de 1952 - 26 de agosto de 2004) fue una cantante y actriz estadounidense popular en los años ochenta, de ascendencia irlandesa e italiana. Se hizo popular con la canción "Gloria". Recibió su primera nominación al premio Grammy® por esta canción. "Self Control" fue su mejor álbum ya que el tema principal se convirtió en un hit n#1 de manera internacional, otros de sus éxitos son "Solitaire", "The Lucky One", "Spanish Eddie", y "The Power of Love".
