Biografía:
La historia de The Left Banke define perfectamente lo que es un grupo de culto. A finales de los sesenta graban dos discos, uno de ellos excepcional, y aunque en su época no son demasiado conocidos el paso de los años sirve para dejar constancia de su enorme calidad. The Left Banke contribuyeron a hacer más complejo el pop, a demostrar que las dimensiones desde las que podía abordarse una canción eran infinitas.
El grupo se forma en 1965 en Nueva York.
