Biografía:
The Congos es un grupo de Roots Reggae que se formo en la segunda mitad de los años 70, formado por Cedric Myton y Roy Jhonson, al que despues se les unio Watty Barnet (que no abandonaria la formacion) al grabar en los estudios Black Ark para Lee Perry.
Del 77 al 79 grabaron 3 albums, Heart Of The Congs(1977), Congo Ashanti(1979) y Image Of Africa(1979), despues Roy "Ashanti" Jhonson abandona el grupo y Cedric Myton grabo en 1981 como Cedric Myton And The Congos el album "Face The Music".
