Biografía:
Gordon Matthew Sumner, (nacido el 2 de octubre de 1951), más conocido por su nombre artístico Sting, es un músico inglés anteriormente bajista, cantante y líder del grupo musical The Police.
Sting nació el 2 de Octubre de 1951 en Wallsend (Newcastle, Inglaterra). Hijo de un lechero, fue educado en la religión católica. Desde temprana edad supo que quería ser músico. Asistió a la Universidad de Warwick en Coventry, aunque no llegó a titularse.
